The areas are: 1) Assessments and pre-assessments 2) Instruction 3) Tasks & Assignments 4) Effective questioning The first are we will focus from Sept.-Oct. is assessments and pre-assessments. Attached are the documents we used for the assessment staff development activities we conducted here last week--I spoke with most of you about it on Friday. There is a reference in the first attached document that details the steps we followed for the staff development to a pdf document I found online written by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills. The pdf document is titled: 21st Century Skills assessments. I only used the first page and half of the second.
